BlueIxia

Payment ecosystem

Connected to established payment infrastructure.

BlueIxia describes two different things in two different ways: commercial relationships with payment providers, and the wider card-scheme ecosystem that acceptance depends on. They are never presented as the same thing.

Payment infrastructure relationships

BlueIxia works across selected payment-provider relationships to help businesses access suitable infrastructure. Regulated payment services are supplied by the relevant provider under its own permissions and terms.

Global Payments / WorldpayPayment-provider relationship
Fiserv / CloverPayment-provider relationship
DECTAPayment-provider relationship

Provider availability and the nature of BlueIxia's relationship vary by provider, market and merchant. Payment services are supplied under the relevant provider's own agreement.

Global card networks

Card acceptance made available through relevant acquiring and payment-provider infrastructure may support major international card networks including Visa and Mastercard.

MastercardCard scheme, not a BlueIxia commercial partner

Visa and Mastercard are not represented as BlueIxia commercial partners. All third-party trade marks are the property of their respective owners.

Why the distinction matters

Accuracy before presentation.

A payment-provider relationship is a commercial arrangement. A card scheme is global network infrastructure that a business reaches through its acquirer or payment provider. Presenting the second as if it were the first would be a misrepresentation.

For that reason, card schemes never appear under "our partners", "BlueIxia partners" or "banking partners", and no third-party name or mark is published on this site until the relationship wording and trade-mark permission have both been confirmed.

BlueIxia is a specialist payment intelligence and commercial intermediary business. BlueIxia is not a bank, acquirer, payment institution, electronic money institution or payment service provider. Regulated payment services are supplied by the relevant third-party provider under its own terms, underwriting and regulatory permissions. BlueIxia does not hold or settle merchant funds.

BlueIxia may receive fees, commissions or other remuneration from third-party providers where a commercial relationship exists.

Answers

Common questions

No. Visa and Mastercard are card schemes and are not represented as BlueIxia commercial partners. Card acceptance is provided through the relevant acquiring or payment-provider infrastructure.
Why are no provider logos shown?
Third-party names and marks are published only once publication wording and trade-mark permission have been confirmed for each relationship.
